ABOUT

behind the blog

how it all began

Duncan Daily started as a creative outlet during a season of life where I was craving something that felt like mine.
At first, it was a mix of ideas… lifestyle, inspiration, things I loved… but over time, I kept coming back to the same thing: simple, cozy food and the routines around it. Cooking, baking, and creating in the kitchen became something grounding for me, and I wanted to share that in a way that felt real and approachable.
This blog has slowly grown into a space focused on easy recipes, everyday meals, and simple ideas that actually fit into real life. It’s not just the highlight version of it. It’s still evolving, but that’s part of what I love about it.

About Me

hey, i’m natalie

I’m a mom, a homebody at heart, and someone who’s always loved creating… whether that’s in the kitchen, through baking, or building something from scratch online. Most days you’ll find me in a cozy routine of coffee, cooking, and trying to keep life feeling a little more simple and intentional.
I’m not a professional chef or someone with a perfect kitchen. I’m just a mom who genuinely loves good food, slow mornings and figuring out what works in real life. This space is a mix of all of that! Easy recipes, everyday routines, unique gift ideas and the little things that make life feel good.

Because I know you’re curious…here’s where I answer the fun, random, and helpful questions I get asked the most about blogging, life, and everything in between.

I’ve always loved writing, creating and sharing little pieces of my everyday life. Blogging became the perfect blend of creativity and connection. It lets me inspire, teach and document life all at once.

Simple! I wanted a space that feels like a peek into my daily life. Plus, using my son’s name made it feel personal but still timeless.

Seasonal stuff, my current recipe favorites, and honestly…whatever I’m into in real life at the moment. If I’m cooking more, you’ll see recipes. If I’m shopping fall sweaters, you’ll see outfit inspo!

Truthfully, I shop online a lot because it’s hard to take my toddler with me everywhere. But when I get the chance to shop in person, I love Nordstrom, Aerie, Sephora and Target.

Yes! I’m working on something exciting surrounding this! Sign up for my newsletter for all the insider details.
