Preheat your oven to 350F.
In your mixer with the paddle attachment, cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy. (About 5 minutes)
Add in the eggs and vanilla.
Mix 1 minute
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the mixer.
Mix until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Using a 2 Tbsp cookie scoop, place 12 dough balls onto a lined cookie sheet.
Bake 9-11 minutes, or until the edges start to turn golden brown.
